Amazing bull! But to be completely honest, the luster isn’t there for me when animals are taken with the help of an army of guides. To me, the accomplishment is GREATLY reduced. I’m sure I’ll ruffle some feathers with this, but to me it’s the honest truth.I hope the hunter is happy, I suppose that’s what matters.

I’m against any bonus point bailouts like squaring or preference point conversion. If you have been applying unsuccessfully all your life it’s because you bet on applying for glory tags despite knowing your odds would be long. That bet didn’t turn out the way you wanted. Too bad, so sad. Cry me a river. I have a mixed opinion on tag transfers. On one hand I’ve seen transfer tags go to kids after the original tag holder fell ill or died and I’m favorable to that. On the other, I don’t like seeing little kids hunting bighorn or pronghorn when the original tag holder was their grandmother who never hunted a day in her life

I lose interest after I see pictures of hunters sitting 10ft back or whatever they do to make it look better. Nice bull though.

Nice try, 80-90% of AZ deer tags can be drawn every 3-5 years without having to wait. The tags people really want have 5,000 to 6,000 people applying for what 75-90 tags per hunt. Waiting 3 years between tags isn't going to improve your draw odds a dang bit.

Might be the only analogy that explains it away.

I wouldn't mind seeing a ban on Non-res OTC tags and a ban on non-res sheep tags. Never will happen because of funding but I would like to see all the 60-70 year old guys draw a sheep tag before a 12 year old does from out of state.

Put some of the youth hunts back in December like they were when I was a kid. And yes to 365 lion or at least August 15thish (whenever archery deer opens) til May 31st.

There are people in AZ who apply 10+ people a year and have for some time. Doesn’t take very long, especially with point guard, to get to a spot where you draw primo tags every single year by piggy backing. I personally hate point guard and it is abused by a LOT of people. People should be able to turn tags in for emergencies but their reasoning should be reviewed.

This will probably be unpopular, but PLEASE create some archery only sheep tags.
