Used mini cabbage (Brussels sprouts) diced small. Corn, onion, lime, cilantro, and seasoning. Made a sauce. Diced tomato and onion to top. It’s been a long time since I’ve done shrimp tacos but these came out more than edible!!

ctafoya, I am the one with the savage rifle that Chef was talking about. As he said I have been shooting the Sierra 168 grain hpbt with great success. I was given the load data when I bought the rifle years ago and have never had a reason to change. I had Lance take the rifle and tweak the load and get it as tight as he could without changing any of the components. Finished product was under .4 moa. A friend of mine used to shoot competitively and was sponsored by Sierra. So he hooked me up with a box of 500 bullets. If you want to try them out and see how they shoot let me know and I will give you a handful.

Oh yeah forsure. that was mostly a generation thing and the TAKE TAKE TAKE mentality. it happens on alot of forums and pretty much happened around the same time. still happened today. There was a group of people that were the best of the best well at east thought so as well as some others that said that.. also that was one of the Early Cancel culture deals I was talking about. some people didn tlike others who had joined and because of that through a tizzy that if they werent banned or rules were made to change there behavior they wouldn't post. Others felt that way cause they would make a fishing reports and the next day there would be 20-30 boats on there super secret spot usually at Saguaro ie que in the name sag fags. Then there was some that left cause of there jobs were being threatened by people who didnt like what they were saying on the net. Some of these clowns (usually the people who bitched the most) would actually have the odasity (sp) to call and complain to a persons boss of the way the behaved on a forum. But the funny part of all that, was the guys who bitched and were too cool for school were always on that board 24/7 reading every fishing report they could find when a tourny was coming. and many had other usernames. I heard that alot many times someone would say that on the lake to me. The zone was a giant Magnet it attracted everybody and very few were able to break away. Bottom line is people created there own drama made for some funny and great posts though.

The dark black are Rockfish super delicious. It was a halibut/ rockfish combo trip I also caught a big lingcod. Just my group of 3 came home with just over 700 lbs of fillets 400 of which were Sockeye from our week stay on the kenai.

I like to access the keni from Soldotna. when the fish are running it can be a blast..As for Halibut fishing I've gone with BoBs trophy charters the last few years and have done very well. I'll see if I can dig up the big halibut pictures there on a different device

I fished with Brooks Alaskan Adventures and Josh Brooks is very enthusiastic and he and his first mate (an ex-beautician), work hard. Due to weather he was not able to take us to the spot he wanted and gave us a nice discount on the trip. My brother pulled in a 100lb butt and mine was around 70. Caught some miscellaneous stuff as well. He has nice Penn International 2 speeds for halibut reels. (Second Picture Driftwood Charters was the other charter I went on. Hard working as well but did not go as far because we also were targeting Kings. Halibut were smaller but we did bring in a 100 pounder. I would not hesitate to go with Captain Shane again. (First Picture) A Soldotna local that was on the river trip I was on just went on a Charter called Big Dan's Fishing Charters. It looks like he will target large halibut if that is what you are looking for. She really had a great review. All these can be Googled for their website for further info. Book as early as you can since the season has started.
