It was no secret, Mike and I didn't like each other. However, no one, especially someone who served our country deserves to go that way. I wish the best for his wife and children.

Mike's biggest wish in life had nothing to do with hunting. His biggest wish was to be a Daddy. And what a great father and husband he was! Mike leaves behind a wonderful wife and two awesome boys. I have heard that his military disability pension will end with his passing and will not support his wife and kids. A Go Fund Me page is in the works to help them. I'll post a link when available. We have lost a great father, husband, friend to all, and hunter, but Mike's faith was endless, and he is with Christ now.

Nope! Well not at this time, need to see 5-6 real reviews. Then wait a year or two when they refine after all of the feedback. Finally old enough to have learned not to get excited and then have buyers remorse. But I will stare at them online a lot.

This absolutely breaks my heart. Over the last two weeks I have personally been talking to Mike quite often. He had a patio roof that he's been trying to get done for over a year. It seems like every time we tried to make plans to do it he got sick. Unfortunately it never got done. My heart is broken for his family and himself. I can't find the words say to his family just how sorry I am for your loss. To any of his family members I know there's still work to be done on the patio and around Mike's house. I would like to donate my time and whatever materials it takes to finish the patio roof. And any other help the family may need in this troubling time. There is no hurry as I know this is a very troubling time. My prayers are with You Mike and may good bless your family. Rest in peace My friend Mike.

He payed the ultimate sacrifice for our beloved country. My memory of him will be one held in honor and dignity. Now, there will be no more pain and no more surgeries and he gets to scout out the back hills of heaven before us. Prayers for his family.

I have two relatives that are nurses working in two different hospitals here in the valley and dealing with this crisis everyday. They are working their asses off right now. Everyone is correct, when NY was going through this back in March, April and into May the AZ hospitals were very slow and that is why they started doing elective surgeries again because they were losing money. Now the chickens have come home to roost and AZ is going through what NY did a couple months ago. My niece tells me the vast majority of deaths she has witnessed, the people had underlying health issues such as smokers (current & past), drug users, obesity, diabetes and old age. She said people who are or were ever a heavy smoker need to be very careful. I hate to say it but just about all of us are going to get it eventually and it sucks. The best thing we can try and do is lesson the blow. Just be smart and courteous when going out in public. It does not hurt anyone to take precautions to either prevent spreading it or contracting it.

Yesterday evening removed the head of a rattler in our backyard. Put it in the garage fridge (per the wife) for a little science project today. There was something clearly in the back third of this thing due to the girth, pics don’t due justice as to the thickness, but I was itching to find out. I love dissecting these (A) to see what it has in its stomach (B) to save the skin (C) because I’m that kind of guy. As I was pulling the skin off, noticed numerous orange-yellowish gelatinous bulbs with dark spirals within them. Cut one open and pulled out a 3” earthworm looking serpent. The eye was completely developed much larger than the head. A total of (6) of these were waiting to be hatched. Cool as heck, but heck no having more of these around my house. Skin is on a plank waiting to be cured, roughly 3’ in length. The flip flops are size 14 for a reference.

"If I dont hit the animal they rarely die". Tell us about the rare ones that did die.😄 and cause of death. Sorry, I thought that was funny. Maybe I have the bat flu and a fever.

Wow. That’s really tragic. Mike sold me my first set of swaro 15’s. We talked for a couple hours in the Sportsmans warehouse parking lot off I-17. I didn’t know a coues deer from a jack rabbit at the time as I had just moved to AZ from ND. He texted me several times throughout that first year I lived here with hints and ideas on how and where to find deer and pigs. Really a nice guy. I know a lot of a55holes and they seem to live forever, but nice guys like Mike always seem to be the ones that go tragically.
