I wish I wasn't drunk when I put in. Got two deer tags and no clue what unit, mule or coues, late or early. Just glad to have tags again.

I've been going through old photos and found two pictures of a massive Coues buck. I have no idea whose deer it is or how the heck I came to posess the pictures. Personally, I've never seen a Coues buck with this kind of mass. It may have been posted on this site at some point. Anybody know about this buck? I've got a few more pictures I will post of different bucks that I have no clue about. Hopefully I do not offend the hunter who took this deer.

I’m going on a charter boat, all meals (mostly fresh caught seafood), lodging and fishing provided. Bought my plane ticket round trip to kodiak island for $540 about a month ago. If i shoot two or three deer and catch a bunch of halibut and have it all shipped home through a packer, tips , tags, licenses, a motel room the day before and the day after my hunt, all food, everything until i’m back home with my animals i’ll be in it for under 4K. Not much more than most DIY out of state hunts i’ve done.

Wait till your portal updates and you got that unit 36 tag because you transposed a hunt number ...but seriously, congrats!

Some deer get skittish and some don't seem to pay much attention. I had 4 big muleys slowly approach a tank I had a pop up bling set up by the fence- all brushed in- and three stayed back while the one got about 45 yds but decided he didn't like what he saw so they all left. Other times I've sat my chair behind some branches and sat still while a 4x4 looked my way once and just kept coming in till I double lunged him at 23 yds. I personally think wind and scent control are priorities

Grand daughter got the doe Bab tag or 22 youth, nephew got 12w late. Dad and brother got the Bab or 22 mulie . I'm still hopeful, did 2 charges this morning at 7am o both cards I used for the draw, neither has should up yet, every year I get drawn nothing shows until Sunday. So don't give up and don't listen to these buzz killers..

Driving a 18 ram 2500 with Cummins. Zero issues . Had a f250 before . I spent close to 15k keeping it running and was facing a $5500 repair when I said enough already. Bought the ram for one reason.....Cummins.

I get my jerky from Dee Dee's Finest Beef Jerky in NM. Not like any other jerky I have had. Paper thin, crunchy at first, then melts in your mouth. Awesome flavors too. I always order 6 packs at a time. Buy 4, get 1 free. I have tried most of the spicier flavors. Green chili, red chili, chipotle, and jalapeño are my favorites. Caribe chile is good too. The habenero is insanely hot. Great taste, but have to eat it sparingly. They have a lot of the staple flavors too.
