You forgot everyone got their "free money" everyone put in even the homeless.

My brother and his kids keep saying they want to get into hunting and ask me for help. Every year I promise to take them, select some hunts that would be great for them, tell them everything they need to do to apply, and send daily text reminders leading up to the app deadline. This morning I sent him a text to verify he got his apps in. The reply, "Not yet, I plan to do them tonight." I refuse to do 100% of the work for them. If they can't be bothered to do the app themselves after I have given step by step instructions with hunt numbers, and plan to take them with my limited time off from work, I feel no guilt. Different year, same story. Sorry rant over. Some horses you can't even lead to the water, let alone get them to drink.

I hate the roads in that unit almost as much as 6A. Even in my Ranger, they are rocky and bumpy on the secondary roads. Mud wasnt a problem in the sxs, but the freaking boulder fields that pass as roads suck. Main roads are great.

Work is cancelling non-essential travel and conferences, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. I work in healthcare IT so we’ve got extra work to do for integration of screenings, reporting, surveillance, etc into our systems. I heard they may cancel the elk draw results and issue tags to everyone who didn’t draw...
