Tomorrow will be a hard day for me. My 9 year old shorthair pointer Mags will be chasing and pointing quail and pheasant in heaven. The last week she has been slow to eat and her stomach has been getting hard. Could just tell something was off with her as I’ve had her since a pup. Took her to an emergency vet last night for X-rays and bad news was confirmed. She has cancer looking tumors in her chest and all over her lungs. Crazy how within a week it has gotten so bad so fast. She stays outside but has been an indoor dog since yesterday and getting first class treatment. Been eating chicken, steak, and anything else she wants. This dog has pointed thousands of coveys of quail and a pile of pheasants from Arizona to Kansas. Trained a lot of other dogs also for people. I’m sure it will really set in tomorrow but man even tough guys can get tore up from a good dog going away. RIP Mags.

I think between the covic19 and all the looting and burning buildings and such this country is in Really bad shape. To me this is a important issue that we should discuss. These mass gatherings of protests are going to make the last bout of the virus look like childs play. People just need realize what they're doing to this country that's already been beatin like a baby seal.

Haven't hit all of those but Ground Hog, McPhee, and the west fork of the Dolores are all good stuff! The west fork seems to get better in mid to late July for me anyway, but the small mouth just above McPhee should be solid about now.

There is a trout pond right in Telluride Mountain Village that I used to take my kids to. You can also try Burro Bridge, Fish Creek between Dunton and Groundhog, West Dolores River south of Dunton, Groundhog Lake, Groundhog Creek if you can find access. McPhee Reservoir near Dolores is great because of the variety of fish. Narraguinep between Dolores and Pleasant view uses to be great but I haven’t fished since they no longer allow boats. Miramonte lake south of Norwood is full and fishing was great 3 weeks ago There are plenty of opportunities in the area that are closer to Telluride. Most I mentioned are 25-50 miles away.

Morning! LOL OK, let me spell it out for everyone. Amanda wants this to be a coues deer hunting site. She wants it focused primarily on hunting, scouting, tactics, camping, hiking, fishing, outdoors,, etc. The Terms & Rules that everyone here agreed to when joining spell-out pretty much what she doesn't want here. The problem with this latest topic that a tiny minority of users here want to focus on lately isn't that it is 'political'. The problem is that like with most hot topics, the tiny minority can't seem to debate & share info on it without crossing over into the stuff that Amanda doesn't want here. A few years ago the "Political" forum was added for this exact reason. Seemed that often times when there was a political topic not related to hunting, that it ended-up with the type of rhetorical BS that Amanda didn't want here. Hence to appease the few that couldn't seem to 'not' post that stuff, she started the Political forum so people could have a place to post, comment, and debate. (The funny thing is though, that of course it seems to get VERY little traffic. Sort of ironically, I've probably been one of the most active posters there! LOL) When invoking Amanda's will as a moderator, the choice becomes to simply delete the entire thread or to move it to the Political forum. For the novice internet user, keep in mind that if a post is moved or deleted and a new post is started in it's place to either whine about the post being removed/moved or to simply replace the original topic, then it's a pretty safe bet that the second topic will be deleted or moved as well. Shouldn't take a genius to figure that out. Also, please save the "free speech / censorship" arguments. To ensure everyone is on the same page, free speech applies to 'public' speech (which this is not). Censorship is what applies in this case, since it is a privately owned site. I think it would be awesome if there was LOTS of activity in the Political forum. Especially if it were to discuss truly meaningful topics (gun rights, healthcare, the deficit, social security, education, trade, etc...). All you guys should get the password and knock yourselves out. I'll be there too! Alright Delw, AZkiller, and a few of my other favorites. I'm ready now. I’ve got 3 RTIC’s and love them. Whether they hold ice longer or not, you don’t have to replace them every year is why i like them

Disagree a million percent. My RTIC has been a 1000x better cooler than either of the 3, Igloo Extremes i have.

Their prices have definitely gone up since they first came out. I have a couple of them and as long as you follow their instructions about pre cooling I have had no problems. Still cheaper at this sale price then other competitors.

I wouldnt look for the best units in Colorado you can find big or even huge deer in a low tier unit.
