Tis the end of the bison burger. Momma seasoned some patties up for us with a side of fair fries. Good stuff.

The key is to get someone who makes the product for the manufacturer. Like you could use Delphi coils or even the standard T series on some things or you could even get motorcraft from an aftermarket parts house cheaper than the dealer I'm sure.

personally I like to use factory parts, Wife on the other hand sqawks and likes it cheap. took about 15 years for her to realize every time we bought after market parts, I had to replace them over and over but hey they parts are life time right..... I'm still a factory guy unless they cant be had, she is hard core factory since then. case in point 3 years ago had complete front end replaced guy used soo called good parts against my better judgement it saved me 2k. put another complete front end in last year. this time factory parst except for the ones that were out of stock we went with the stronger aftermarket ones. F autozone and the likes.

So many having their cattle butchered right now, our processor moved our butcher dates back several weeks. If I owned a taco truck looking for burger and trying to save $, buy a dairy cow, butcher her yourself and grind her up. Save a thousand dollars. In blind taste tests, people prefer heifers. Most your franchise burger joints are serving dairy cattle.

They will. I’m not sure if bfgoodrich changed the way their tires are made but I know the newer tires come with a warranty. Mine didn’t

For sure a shortage. My niece had to call like 30 stores to find one. Call Costco and see if they have any. They will hold it for you. That’s what she did.

No knowledge on ford but the Germans like factory stuff. Or at least an aftermarket made by the same company that the factory uses. I tend to use dealer parts for electrics on my vehicles. But I don’t own any fords, they may be different.

How much profit would you think they make on a 10k rifle? 2-3k? They’d have to sell 1,000 of them to get outta that hole.

I'm not a fan of their rifles, but I loved their G7 rangefinder. They've done a LOT for the sport of hunting so I really hope they don't go out of buisness.

Pretty much every company in the industry makes a replacement for a 3.5l eb coil

Thanks my situation is probably much different than yours. I was fortunate to get the late West Kaibab deer hunt last November with 13 points. My health is poor and I struggled on the turkey hunt. I am kinda running out of time for hunting. At times I could only walk 40 to 50 yards without stopping to rest. To me the best part of the hunt is scouting but times have changed for me. If I were in your shoes I would have done what you did. I hope things get better since I have 20bp for elk.

Sounds like they need better management, from the look of it they liked the “getting bigger” aspect a lot more then the “being successful” aspect. I’ve always been skittish about their products. They seem to have their marketing down quite well, much like hornady or vortex. My theory on that is if your marketing is that strong something else has to suffer and it’s usually the quality of the product.

Lot of good advice in this thread. Most of it earned with leather and sweat. Best advice I can give you is to find an area you like and learn it well - "make it your own."

When it comes to finding live springs, tinajas, etc. there is no substitute for boot leather. Unfortunately, many springs that were live year round are now dry or perennial. Ground water pumping and a general drought have rendered an alarming number of natural water sources non existent. Do your groundwork and you'll be OK.

Don't feel bad. I sent about 200 ABLR projectiles down range before I gave up. I could never get them to shoot consistent out of my gun. I switched to ELD-X bullets and have been shooting tiny holes since. Bergers are probably more accurate I just don't like how they perform on critters. I did shoot one MD with a ABLR bullet and it went bang flop. Just wish they were accurate at distance.
