Got out Friday am and found myself in the right place at the right time, called a gobbler off the roost into two decoys and hammered him at 30 yards, done at 530 am and for breakfast and ad fresh turkey nuggets for lunch. Thanks

So i had the pleasure of hunting with my two older boys for the first time in 7 years. Both were competitive swimmers and missed most hunting seasons due to trips and then college. So after a long absence we hit the southern hills for a coues hunt. Glasses up two shooter bucks first morning and they slipped us on three different stalks the first two days. Great hunting though we were having a blast but starting to think these bucks had us beat. Third morning the wind was howling and everything seemed bedded out of the wind. We flipped to a side of the canyon that we thought would block the wind and just before 10am we caught them moving to beds. After some leap frogging to keep them in the glass and move to a shooting spot. The best we could do was 420yrds and we couldn’t get low enough to get out of the wind that was swirling around the top of the ridge line. My oldest got set up and we waited for a couple hours hoping it would stand up. During the time we went back and forth on the two bucks. One a classic 3x3. Most likely 85-90 so good solid buck. But we could get away from the old 2x2 with him. He was unique with great mass and tall. Big body and we just couldn’t pass on him. Yea the 3x3 would score better and look good but this old deer had to be taken. Finally we said let’s take him in his bed if you fell good. I know my son felt confident with his old 30-06. Not the perfect Coues rifle but he trust it and it shoots great. He didn’t have a BT so we were working out the drop at 420 and one of his reticle hash marks lined up good. So he went hot and let it fly. Deer came busting out. Shot was high. He found it again on the run up the to the top and fired an ill advised shot missing Unlike most coues I’ve hunted this buck granted him one last perfect broadside at the top. Reset he fired and the buck went ten feet into a prickly pear and folded up. Ranged 465. Double lung. Side note. Using new Sierra Gamechanger bullets. Went through and blew half a lung out a hole about the size of a quarter. Minimal internal damage. Nice bullet in the wind for sure. Couldn’t have had a better hunt with my two oldest boys after a long gap in the field. Enjoy the pics

I put a brake on my wife\daughter's savage lightweight 6.5 as much to remove muzzle flip as to reduce recoil and I love it. I ended up taking it my Oct hunt ' to make sure it was safe' and shot my deer with it at 250 with very low light on 14x and watched it drop in the scope and my wife shot her deer at about 150 on 14x on a morning hunt and watched it drop. I enjoy the reduced muzzle flip maybe even more than the recoil reduction but both are nice. This is the lightest caliber I have shot with a brake but I'm not adverse to it for that reason.

Yeah. Decent deal on that Champion 191 with a 200 Evinrude on CL. Looks like it might need some carpet on the floorboards but overall good shape. I'm guessing you'll be seeing more good boats going up for sale soon.

Looking for a 250 or 230 cc motorcycle with a four stroke engine. Don't need anything fancy, just for riding forest service roads. Thanks

Long answer short BUY USED but newer years. get the motor checked out by a reputable mechanic they will hook it up on there computer and let you everything. Best merc mechinic in the state is brent at performance marine in glendale. A new boat is great for a pcs of mind and the warranty. boat motors are the main cost of a boat. A used boat if you cant afford a new one. I wouldn't buy shoot from Cabelas or Bass pro boat wise let alone have something worked on by them. any boat either way your going to spend money on them ie break out another thousand is true. that being said I know guys with boats that havent had any issues with 15 year old boats. when they sit you have issues, run them once a month you wont have issues. Change the impeller min of every year and if it sits more than 3 months in with out running change it before you go out to the lake. I worked on 2 strokes for a good chuck on years turned into a good side job but like any hobby I couldnt stand it after a while. 4 stroke is your best bet for a motor. 2 strokes are basically a race engine and if they dont get ran they break and dont run right. kinda liek the old Dirt bikes back in the day you always had to dick with them if you didnt ride them.

I have an understanding with snakes. I leave them alone and they leave me alone. You can add reptiles to my do not like list along with pools & HOA nazi's.

Your the king of forgiveness! I’ll let the good snakes go if I can! The bad ones die with no second chances

HOA management companies ( if you have one) are hired and paid by your neighborhood board of directors. They take direction from that board on how strict to manage communities. Lots of control freaks on those boards. Go to your board members if you want changes (or better yet become a board member. Arizona planned community act helps keep HOAs in line. State law trumps any restrictions they try to impose.
