2 pointsI shoot HSM with 168 Bergers in my 7Mag Remington 700 that is almost 30 years old and get well under MOA. I can hit a golf ball at 400 yards. Furthest I have shot it.

1 pointOlder gentlemen asked for some help selling a few guns. This is a Browning BLR '81 in 22-250. Manufacturer date was 1981. Rifle is in excellent shape and shows little use. Couple spots on top of the barrel where the bluing is gone, not sure from what. Wood had some very minor dings. But overall a great little rifle in nice caliber. Price is $650 Am in Tucson. 1 pointI am not at home, but I have loaded that combo before. Start way lower, but I got up over 90.0 with the combo. Safe in THAT gun. Think about the 230 too. I push them at 3113 in my 28" .300RUM over Retumbo.

1 pointIf it is a 1:11", stick with 190gr and under bullets. They are plenty for taking elk out to 1000, and will stabilize much better. Had a guy I know take a HUGE moose with the 190 HVLD @ 650ish I think, one and done. Nosler Trophy Grade have usually been pretty accurate from what I have witnessed. 180 NAB or 190 NABLR HSM Trophy Gold w. 185 HVLD HSM Game King w. 180 SGK

1 pointDang 1:11 twist seems slower than I would expect. Federal Fusion ammo has been accurate for me in several calibers out of a number of rifles 243/270/6.5C. Factory ammo does shoot well giving you sub MOA in decent rifles. Bear in mind that because higher ES & STD (exterm spread & higher standard deviations) out to 500/600 your accuracy starts to fail because of the velocity deviations.

1 pointagreed. you can build an awesome custom rifle minus optics for under $3K.......Or you could spend 10K and build an even more custom rifle!!!!!! I put $2,700.00 into mine but it isn't super crazy with options. I just want tiny holes.

Was scouting there today on the Yavapia , not much to see but my wife drew a few years ago and took a really nice buck that scored 82, we called him captain hook. She also took one in 19a that scored 88 5/8 net. Ill dig up some pictures and try and post. Since its just you and me lets keep in touch. There should be some really good bucks traveling back and forth from 18a,and 19b
