If you have to finance a camper you shouldn’t buy it. Pay cash and be done. Plenty of people and dealerships dropping prices. Or just rent one for a weekend or two per year.

If it has a bathroom you can count it on your taxes as a 2nd home and right off the interest.

Let’s say you finance a $15,000 camper @ 5% per year. That’s $750 per year in interest you pay. You can rent one for a weekend or two @ $100 per day and basically brake even plus you don’t have to store it or worry about maintenance(tires, brakes, lights..) and you don’t have a monthly payment or insurance cost. I do think it is a great time to pick something up at a great price, financing campers and boats is just a bad financial move if you can’t pay cash or pay off the loan from savings. Just my 2 cents.

To actually answer your question, we have had good experience with Bank of the West for trailers in the past. All three trailers we have purchased, their rates were better than my work CU, Az Fed CU or the big 3 (Wells, B of A, Chase). Good luck and enjoy!

My son got his Tom on day 2 in 6a. We had calm conditions every morning till around 8:00am. Roads were a little muddy but not bad. We roosted birds the night before and came back the next morning and called in 2 toms with a hen call and a Dave Smith hen decoy. Was a pretty cool set.

This. And I'd look for something used. What they want for the newer ones is ridiculous imo.

This is a very nice Remington 700 Mountain Rifle chambered in 280 Remington. I would say 80-90% condition, shoots great, only selling because I now have a Remington 700 Classic also chambered in 280. For sale $650 plus actual shipping costs to your FFL from my FFL. Would consider local trade for a quality .357 magnum (ruger, smith and wesson, etc.) OR a nice Marlin Big bore lever action. Please look at the photo's and ask questions if you have them.

Last year was a little slow on big browns for me, but we did all right on chalks and hard whites. Ended up with a little over 80 elk sheds and 2 dozen or so deer sheds by the end of the year. Coolest ATL of the year Only brown set i found all year Fence line freebie about 300 yards from the bike Biggest set of the year. Probably 330 give or take Mid day stash pile for me and 2 of my buddies First pile to the buyer How did everyone else do?

Depending on where you hunt be prepared for a very hot hunt- no other way to say it. Snakes are also something to keep your eye out - finding a secluded water hole is the best recipe for success - but rain can come at the most inopportune time, I had a couple tanks with trail cameras that were getting 10-20 bucks a day, then it rained and maybe 1-3. The northern units that are open will have much better temps and if you can pattern the bucks you could spot and stalk / ambush. I haven't hunted in August the last few years because it sucks compared to hunting in the fall.... this year I will be hunting the late Dec hunt so next year Aug (LOL).

it wouldnt make any difference if I was you or not, because I like hunting both units and then some.

Ya that was packing out from a successful back pack hunt at about 5k. that bucks a pretty good example. Glasses him at noon feeding on a 95degree day well over a mile from a water source. There really aren’t any rules. These animals go and do what they want and seldom fit in to our made up rules for them. p.s California blows 🤣😉

Hello everyone- I'm working on getting another 50lb keg of this. I can't promise it will come through but I've been able to get it twice before so I've got my fingers crossed. I'll update everyone if I hear either way. It will be priced at whatever it ends up costing ÷ 50... below what is currently marketed at. Again this comes in bulk so you would need to be willing to scoop whatever amount you want and put it in a container. That being said I've seen a number of posts about this powder being available at a number of sources so it may be a surer bet to look around.

All roads to Big Lake officially opened April 15th. The ice is completely off the lake! The lake, store, marina, and disperse camping is open. Please note, that on normal years, the campgrounds and facilities do not open until May 15th. This is not a normal year and we don't have an exact day for them to open yet. I promise as soon as we get that date I will post it to Facebook! The fishing report has been good. Same days have been better than others, but for the most part people are catching. Use cold water baits and maybe even try a gold lure or a green fly. Reports tell us to fish between 4feet and 8feet about 30 feet from the shore. Your Big Lake Family is excited that the 2020 season has begun. We look forward to see you all very soon.
