I haven’t been out much lately but today I decided I’d take a drive. I went behind the house and checked out some spots that are close but I haven’t been to in awhile. Creeks were running cold and clear and I was surprised not to see any tire tracks on the road. Anyways enjoy the pics. From my back porch I can see the turquoise shining on the hill of this mine after a good rain. It was/is a copper mine. Still has a claim but hasn’t been worked in many years. Over all it was a nice half day trip away from home.

It sucks. I'm planning on doing some camping in the near future. I like sipping on some whisky watching a campfire. But i totally get why they have to do it. It takes just one idiot to ruin everything for everybody.

Sounds like the 15th the USFS will ban camp fires. This is in an effort to minimize human caused forest fires. doing that will reduce the need to bring in fire fighters and having them in close quarters in camp and possible virus exposure. Just passing on what I heard.

I got a bull elk archery tag in unit 1 and I need some advice. What bow should I get? It's a late hunt are they still bugling? What broadheads? When should I start practicing? Is a 380 bull possible?
