Driving around a barricade is not the same as driving on a snow covered road. There is no longer the expectation of safety at that point. If you choose to cross a closed river, you are assuming the responsibility. It's a no win deal now. This is one of those cases the prosecutor probably pukes over. No bragging about it.

The plastic bags are the concern in SF, but taking crap, pee, needles, and any other nasty crap on the street is still okay, but make sure you dont have a plastic bag.

I, along with about 20 other vehicles, drove around those barricades and made that crossing yesterday. Like it or not, that’s a way of life for people who live there. My 10 year old was with me. I dare the camera hungry jackasses at Gila County to come charge me. They won’t, because there is no media opportunity in it for them. I hope the Rawlings and Sherwoods sue the heck out of them.

Had great time from 3-7PM at Roosie yesterday. 10-fish landed. Crappie and bluegill hit rapala while all bass (5) tagged Kalin lemon meringue (white/green) jig long line trolling 20’

I havnt been around as long as some but I was thinking the other day I miss hunt stories and technical post on shooting and guns. I don't mind a little drama here and there but no way would I say those posts are great. I liked some of the younger guys hunt posts and family hunt posts with dads and kids.

The puzzle rock buck was a magazine quality write up and one of the first threads I ever read on here. “Show me the kids” still rocks today. The live action post of Fred’s strip hunt was amazing. Coach had an awesome strip post. I am pretty proud of my documented antelope hunt. All the drama threads listed above... I could live without them.

No one is hunting near rez fence without knowing exactly where it is and when you cross it.

The irony here is hard to overlook. For the record, I wish poaching was punished with jail time, for everyone.

As cold as it sounds, IMO, the charges seem appropriate. He drove around a barricade into a flooded wash and no matter how good or honorable his intentions were, those actions resulted in the loss of 3 children. The whole situation is horrific and this seems to be one of those cases where there is absolutely ZERO upside to any legal action and prison time will not benefit the the families, himself or society. Unfortunately, no upside to a prosecution doesn't mean you automatically get a pass.
