A lot of your anger seems to be related to how the two cases had such different outcomes. It would be interesting to see both of the pre-sentencing reports side by side. I never, EVER, worry about COAL unless it is very close to max mag length. I only measure CBTO. If those are ELDs or V-max, I have found big variations in bullet BTO in the same box. Drives me nuts. But as long as your CBTO is within .001" like your loaded rounds show, I wouldn't worry about it in the cartridge it looks like you are loading and light for caliber flat base bullets. Doesn't seem like those are LR rounds, so out to 500ish, you probably won't see enough of a difference unless you are shooting F-class/benchrest. But again, the round doesn't look like that is the case.

If anyone cares to read all the details to the case, you can form your own opinion. Myself and my client were unaware of any wrong doing for almost a year until US F&W made contact with us. We cooperated 100% with them and their investigation which lasted multiple years. In the end, the evidence pointed to the fact that this was nothing more than an honest mistake. The prosecutor and judge came to the same conclusion. I'm embarrassed and apologetic to the bad light this may shine on my family, client and A3, as they are all class acts. I have been involved with A3 for five years and have never heard or seen anyone associated with them do anything questionable in the woods. I'm proud to be friends with so many great people in that company!

I’ve known about this for years. Jed is dirt bag...all poachers are dirt bags. Glad the dirt bag got caught, too bad he avoided serious penalties..... i know someone who’s only job was being a guide and he got caught shooting a “robo-buck” with a foot on the pavement. Pled the same as Jed, got all hunting and guiding rights revoked for 5 years. Money makes a difference and A3 has a LOT of money behind them. Let’s see how the case against them running down elk with snow mobiles in the 27 late hunt this year pans out.... NoBull, maybe tell your brother to stop driving through locked gates to find shed antlers too. 🤫
