My wife tagged out on this awesome coues. After trying to get on a monster buck that we had located without any success my wife found this buck being chased by coyotes. I had glassee up the 3 coyotes earlier in the morning and wanted to shoot them but we knew that there were bucks on that hill side so we waited. When all of a sudden my wife yelled at me to come over to her and told me coyotes were chasing a buck. Once i put the BTX on him i knew he was a shooter. He was able to fend off the coyotes. Come to find out it was a buck someone we knew had blown off his hoof and could not relocate so he told us about him and his last where abouts and shoot him if we saw him so he wouldnt suffer a slow death. Thanks my brother and sister inlaw for thier help. Our camp went 6 for 6 this year

I have photos but they're really old. So they don't show all the added mounts and rearranging that's been done. This first bunch is my first trophy room. The birds in the alcove below are a chukar (upper right), ringneck and a male & female Mearns below the Eastern turkey. The 23-lb. northern pike is from the Hotlitna River in Alaska. These are of the newer addition I built several years ago as a family/trophy room to house my African, New Zealand and misc. critters. I often refer to it as the Marc Plunkett Gallery since he had mounted nearly everything in it when these photos were shot. L to R -- Nyala, warthog, Black wildebeest, blesbok, kudu. Ctr. -- Red deer stag -- New Zealand L to R. -- Gemsbok, Impala, Blue Wildebeest L to R. -- Springbok, bushbuck from Africa, chamois and tahr from NZ New location of bear These are additions since these photos were taken.

My wife has tagged out on 3 nice bucks on opening day the last 3 years since she decided to start hunting. The deer were holding tight at first light due to the wind. When I changed glassing seats I used the chest binos to scan closeby hills and found this fella and another buck at 700 yards. We boogied over there and got nice and close when he was bedded down. The shot was 140 yards.

opening morning, I went all in with going after that big bull from last night. With the heavy fog I snuck into the corner of the giant field to find somebody beat me to it. He parked right where they exited and entered the field. After a few cuss words, i wished them well and left the area. pic of the fog lifting I only saw one bull (more like a non-cow) ill be headed to the same spot if nobody is there in hopes of finding that big guy in a couple of hours. More Gratuitous turkey pics

Cool pics! While not necessarily my first time, I am still relatively new to the trail cam world, but got a few cool ones this fall from this camera (in addition to 10,000 feral horse pictures. Hope you don't mind me adding to your thread.

As long as there’s no trucks with lettering on the side, no burro loving hippies, and no power lines, I’d say do it. Just don’t advertise it when your done.

Nice buck - especially for a "backup buck". Can't wait to see pix of your target buck - good luck getting on him in January.
