Wonderful to see the boys and their headgear. I will be at the cabin in New York for opening day this year, the first time in 29 years. I am gonna miss the 'Third week group' and 29 years worth of stories. Looking forward to October in 36B and November in 3K .

Ya learn something new every day, not sure how safe I would consider that, but......dang I may put the wife back there. I'll keep the dogs in the cab with me though.

May find some two legged critters on your cameras. The canyon bottoms show illego activities. I've also found empty one gallon jugs on tops of hills. Welcome to southern AZ hunting

Great glass. If you look up the Audubon society spotting scope reviews, this outscored the swarovski.

Thought maybe that was the case. Spent my late teens and early adulthood constantly going to punk, metal and hardcore shows. Then I started having kids and that went out the window... How I miss those days. I Did see Rollins with Helmet and Sausage when they played in Philly. Anyways, since you mentioned it's your first deer hunt, do you know how to hunt Coues? Tripod, 12s or 15s etc?

If you are going to be out all day, at least you can know what times to NOT take a nap. 😉 http://www.solunarforecast.com/solunarcalendar.aspx I recall seeing lotsa deer activity when the full moon rose right at sunset.

Your off topic now, he was talking about a gay cat in 11m?

Head is better, depending on how you handle the meat in the field.

I have hunted it a couple times on the November hunts, there are a ponds that all had water both hunts. The windmills I am familiar with were down in muley country, lots of cows and muleys. If you have found a wet tank at the higher elevations, there will be coues around it.

I hate thieves! Those are unique mounts. I hope you get your property back and find the perpetrators.

I’m so lost with this post? Is it about the big bull? A video of the big bull(alive or dead) or is it about a marginally gay cat? Wtf is going on here?

I looked through 3 pairs side by side (all 12x50), the Razors, UHD Razors, and Swaro EL. UHD razors are definitely a strong improvement from the Razors optically, with a significant size increase and slight weight increase as the only drawbacks. The UHDs surprised me with how close the were to the ELs, then it became obvious that the ELs were brighter without a doubt. But when you compare the price tags, Vortex is almost a grand cheaper than the ELs (depending where you look). I like the way Vortex is going optically, just wish they would've done a 15x but i understand that at those prices, most guys would just go with Swaro, Lieca, or Ziess.

    Steiner 20x80's have a FOV of 174' at 1000 yards, aprox 25% less than 15's. 87' @ 500 yards The 18's have a FOV of 194 feet at 1000 yards. 97' @ 500 yards. The Swarovski 15's are 234' @ 1000 yards. 117' @ 500 yards. The 12x50 El's are 300' @ 1000 yards. 150' @ 500 yards. How much magnification you need is a personal choice.

Wow! It must be easy to harvest elk steaks in ones yard. All I get out of mine is vegetables. But I have harvested some really nice big bulls that could be seen from someone's yard .The one thing that is good about that is, No caring for many miles(at 82 -it would be impossible): guess that I could rent a mule to get the job done. 11 M has many problems & advantages, but for a Senior- like me the advantage are +. What do you think i should do harvest a nice bull there this Sept? I have the early hunt. I shot a huge bull (Schultz pass area). It was the biggest LIVE bull that I have ever seen in 50 yrs. hunting. 400 + My way of hunting is -1 person(only) chasing 1 animal. I believe that this is the only-(fair chase) For me to have pride in my successes., Thank you! Photos- 1-just prior to my release,- 2 -His antlers- 3 - his son= my target - this Sept.

I don’t understand the appeal of 18’s over 15’s. I think they would have done better with a razor hd 15 instead of uhd 18’s.

Get the 12 EL’s. Something with some actual craftsmanship, not some crap slapped together by a bunch of 9year olds in a sweat shop.

Nice job man. I love it when people run renegade on those buffalo hunts and kill one. Way to stick with it. I’ll just keep buying my bison BP’s in hope that some day the politics of that hunt end.
