Hey CWT members, I hope it's ok to post this here. I went to this event last year for the first time and never had so much fun in my life so I joined the group. Better yet, it's a non-profit group that throws everything back to the community and to wildlife conservation.
The Arizona Bowhunter's Association (a non-profit group) is holding their annual Bowhunter Happening 3-D shoot July 19-21 at Mormon Lake. For nearly 40 years this event has become one of the MOST enjoyable family archery shoots for all ages. This year the ABA is planning several new things including 5 new courses in the tall forest pines, an extreme course, multiple moving targets, and metal "blaster" targets. The old favorites will still be there such as Paul Line's Big Bear kids course, the Novelty Long Shot, the Aerial Archery Trap Shoot, and a Saturday night bonfire (subject to rstrictions) where you can bring and cook wild game to share with others.
There will be multiple vendors, raffles (including several nice bows, optics, and accessories), a food truck, and much much more.
