Don't do drugs kids...

Picking up fresh tires over the weekend and will have a set available. They are currently on my Tacoma but will have them available for pickup Saturday. These are used, have about 55k miles on them and are 6 year old. Good but old set of tires, there is definitely still thread life left on them but wouldn't expect too much. The back have a bit more thread left then the front as you can see in the pictures. Was just gonna dump them but maybe someone needs them. Late follow up. I did end up going with a kimber sub alpine in the 280ai. Topped it with a meopta and Talley light weight rings. All in right about 6.5 lbs. Had to wait awhile before I could shoot it due to life getting in the way. Went out this morning to put some break in rounds through it before starting my load workup. 20 rounds of factory nosler 140s. 3 shoot clean and repeat. Was pleasantly surprised at the initial accuracy. Last group of the day was 5 shots to finish out the 20. This was not the norm for the first 5 "groups", but sure makes me grin about the possibilities.

You can if you have enough to get in the max point pool. Then you are guaranteed the tag.

I wouldn't rely on points, it is a random draw. For example last year my buddy and I drew 13B with 6 points, the year before that a friend and his buddy drew with 4 points and 2 years before that another buddy and his friend drew with 2 points. You can't totally rely on bonus points.

I have hunted both, I shot a 177" in 13B last year, that being said I have had 5 other friends get 13B tags also and 4 out of the 5 shot 200+ inch bucks and the fifth was 192". The difficulty with 13B is all the guides and their cronies running around. there might only be 50 or 80 tags there but once you get all the other guides and helpers up there its more like a thousand people. That being said it can still be an awesome hunt. These are the bucks from last year

Last year 14 woulda got you the tag. I’d expect it to go up this year as a lot of people will have the same idea this year and a lot likely held off last year due to drought. I’m gonna guess 16 or more will be required due to the small tag numbers on that hunt.

If you’re not in max it’s a crap shoot either way so just pick two hunts and hope you get lucky
