Late follow up. I did end up going with a kimber sub alpine in the 280ai. Topped it with a meopta and Talley light weight rings. All in right about 6.5 lbs. Had to wait awhile before I could shoot it due to life getting in the way. Went out this morning to put some break in rounds through it before starting my load workup. 20 rounds of factory nosler 140s. 3 shoot clean and repeat. Was pleasantly surprised at the initial accuracy. Last group of the day was 5 shots to finish out the 20. This was not the norm for the first 5 "groups", but sure makes me grin about the possibilities.

I often wonder how many times I've been watched and how close I've been to a cat that was aware of me and never knew it. I glassed up my first one last summer and it was humbling to see it in person, even from 600 yards away. They're definitely an animal that commands respect.

Like new overalls and jacket set with fold up hood in the the neck collar, turkey holder/decoy carrier on the back side of the jacket. Both the pants and jacket are not insulated and fit a medium size guy. I'm 5'9'' and 170lb and there is plenty of room for adjustment both ways on the bibs. ($20.00 for both). The two Jackets are identical and are insulated with shotgun shell holder/elastic on the inside of the front pockets. fits a small adult or growing kids! ($15.00 each or 25.00 for both). Take everything for $35.00 !!

I'm scheduled for a colonoscopy on the 31st of this month, however if you think you can get er done without me going through the prep, we could possibly set something up.

A P Dogs worst nightmare, with that barrel you won't have to worry about heating up the barrel!

Nope. This is a general hunt. I am kicking around the idea of hunting with my bow as calling is an option and most of the moose encounters I have had were at pretty close range. I am reconciling that in my mind with the fact that the surface ownership is pretty mixed and I could be potentially be trying to capitalize in brief windows when the moose is on accessible land. We will see, but in the meantime I am working on getting both the rifle and the bow set for a moose size opportunity.

Just finished the app for the boy. We have 12 AW as first choice, and some local units as well (21, 20b). Also put him in for Javelina- he hasn't got one yet. Maybe we'll get a hunt in the same unit for both at the same time..

If you plan to do it yourself, rent the 1600lb rated appliance dolly from a-z rentals with the ratcheting straps. 2-3 dudes, a truck, and that dolly will move an 800lb safe pretty easy assuming you dont have stairs or some crazy situation. Back in the day I moved 1000lb safes with 1 other guy. I also used to bench 400lbs so now I try and use more hands, better plans, and muscle when you need it.

I just attach this to my glassing tripod. I also have a bluetooth remote from Phoneskope that lets me take pictures without touching my phone. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B072KNBV21/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 https://www.phoneskope.com/store/product/2/217/
