I brought out a vet on my January hunts this year and it was like he was institutionalized into loving them. He treated them like gold but was so excited to share one with me and tell me all about the surprise factor of not knowing exactly what you're going to get in each package. There was a lot of "those are great, those terrible, man this package should have had X, that will plug you up for a week!" It was interesting and very humbling.

OK, now I'm up to 7 cases of MRE's. Stanley: MRE's are an inexpensive hot meal on the go. Like el diablo said: break 'em down and take what you need. Not all the main courses are great dinner fare, but they are loaded with calories and nutrition to keep you going. At less than $3 per meal, why not?

Anyone have any leads to pigeons for sale?

I was looking for pigeons last year for training a GSP. I ended up buying a pigeon trap from Gun dog supply and have been able to get all the pigeons I wanted. Not sure if you are wanting to go that route but it worked for me.

The pad is made with a Closed Cell Cross Link Foam, It can be used as a floatation device if needed. The pad keeps you comfortable for an all day sit on any terrain. My staff and I put it through a rugged test the last 2 years before coming out with production. I can honestly say that it is the most comfortable seat I have ever sat in while hunting. Another great use is while bow hunting you can use it as a kneeling pad. I promise that you can put the seat on jagged rocks and not feel it on your >>>. Hope this helps. If you ever want to try it out just contact me and you can see for yourself... Anthony

What are these glassing pads stuffed with and how well do the hold up? A couple of my glassing knobs are on some rough jagged rocky stuff that have torn up a couple of other pads. But better pads than my camo and backside. Thanks

Found a solo gobbler calling Sunday March 31st morning that I called in on S.C. Otherwise just pre-rut flocks with minimal activity.

Sorry I havent gotten back to you guys! It was a rough hunt with not know how to hunt that area and unable to glass most of the time due to the entire first day being fogged out and just went walking that Saturday night and got on some tracks and it snowed Saturday night and I went back out on Sunday morning and I got on fresh tracks and found a spike with a couple cows and shot him at about 250 yards. Pack out was about 2 miles and not too steep. The meat tastes great!

I think this would be a better fit for Scott's son.

    147 @ 2943fps. I am surprised at how low that number is to be perfectly honest, even for factory loads. I bet handloads will beat that by a fair bit. I am the first one to admit I will take accuracy over top speed. I got 2850 from a 24" 6.5CM pushing 143s. 2920 from a 26" .260 Rem w. 140s. 2960 from a 6.5SLR w. 140s. 3030 from a 26" 6.5-.284 Norma pushing 143s. 3117 & 3165 from a 26" 6.5SS pushing 150 SMKs. 3120 from a 26" 6.5 SAUM pushing 147s. 3210 from a 26" .264WM pushing 143s. A light loaded 3200 from a 26" .264WM pushing 130s.
