Bob- baiting is one of my least favorite ways to "hunt" but I treasure the time I got to spend on the rez baiting bear with my sons. I traded work for the opportunity and I will treasure that time as much as any I've ever had. Absolutley nothing wrong with it. It is such a better way to manage bears. We passed up over 40+ young bears in 2 different hunts before I shot a big mature bear.

Bob, it's ok to have a different opinion than others, but the way you are going about sharing it is 100% disrespectful! You are the only one on this thread being childish, rude, hurtful and unprofessional! If you can't say something nice don't post it!!!!!!

Is one outfitter having every deer in a unit catalogued by means of trail cameras having lackeys check cams every single night to try and narrow down a particular bucks pattern and direction a non existent problem? Then having guys block roads into an area with several guys on every ridge nearby based on trail camera info? Then several guys walk one guy in via radio to kill a big buck. Is that a non existent problem or do you consider this fair chase? Sure you can argue number 2 and 3 are separate, and you are right. But that's how it is done sometimes. I don't have a problem with cams, I just have a problem with things being abused.

You have to consider the source. Bobs a guy who hires a guilds in his home state, then borrows the rifle for the hunt.

Just a thought but how about the outfitter refund the injured mans hunt, and offer a discount to fill his spot? It's been truly inspiring to be a member of this site for 15 plus years and see time after time hunters reaching out to help one another. People we know nothing about, but offering everything from loaning out equipment to hunters who's gear that has been stolen, pack out help, tips into great hunting areas, retrieval of broken down equipment, you name it. Flip the tables!

hsd a bull buggling his head off this morning chasing cows like nothing was wrong with him - my friends son snuck in on him and shot him at 44 yards . He had a little blood on his face thought he had took an antler tip while fighting - I boiled & cleaned the skull for him -a swacker broadness has went in side of face -angled through sinus cavity lodged in the bone under the eye . Arrow shaft had snapped off even with the hide . Bull acted like nothing was wrong

Toughest bull in 22 North This is a late rifle bull from 22n I killed a few years back. If you look close you can see a arrow shaft and wackem broadhead. While gutting/cleaning this bulll as I was reaching into the chest cavity I thought I felt a broken rib. To my suprise there was this arrow shaft completely lodged in from side to side healed up. There was a baseball sized white mass healed up around the broadhead protecting the gut inside. This guy had this arrow lodged in him for some time!!!
