Had a lady ask for a cedar chest for her grand daughter graduation present! This is only my second attempt at making cedar chests! Thoroughly enjoyed the project!

While out photographing the mountains and desert wildflowers east of Phoenix last weekend, I heard some rocks tumble. Looking in that direction, I saw what I thought was a deer several hundred yards away. Pointing my telephoto lens in that direction, I could see the round white butt of a bighorn sheep. So I abandoned the canyon shots and went in pursuit of the three desert bighorn sheep. If you are interested in the desert wildflower images from the Superstition Mountains and Bartlett Lake areas east of Phoenix, here is a link to that gallery: https://www.plateaulightphotography.com/Landscapes/Arizona-Landscapes/Desert-Wildflowers/ Thanks for having a look.

I just wish they would reduce the tags in a lot of the southern units! Those units get hunted extremely hard and need a break!!!!!

Look at all that red. Down 1560 tags. This makes no sense. Must be a typo because we all know the only thing the G$F cares about is making that money. This could damage their reputation as the money loving tag whores a lot of guys believe them to be. What in TARNATION is going on here!

Visiting the folks yesterday, mom thought I'd like a photo and newspaper clipping from a javelina hunt pop put together in 1960. Dad's on the left, uncle and grandfather on far right. I'll type out the article below, it's a hoot. What, no camo? PIG HUNTERS--An Oil City man, L.T. Black and a Pleasantville man, E.C. Lindquist, returned recently from a successful wild pig hunt in AZ near the Mexican border. Resting after the kill at the hunting camp are Donald Morrison, who now lives in Tucson, AZ .......

Looks like they are making unit 1 archery deer a draw tag. https://s3.amazonaws.com/azgfd-portal-wordpress/azgfd.wp/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/27143102/2019-Fall-Recommendations-3-26-2019.pdf

Where do they receive their data without mandatory reporting?

I was happy as heck to see the decline in tags. There are alot of units that would benefit from even less tags.

Couple of comments and a question. First off, that is VERY VERY cool!!! Wild seeing the knife in the brain at the end! Question though; I noticed in your videos that your left fingers/hand tend to be twitching a little. Is that just kind of a natural/fidgety thing you do, or is there a reason for that (like some kind of attraction move or something??)? Just curious on that. Again, VERY cool! Thanks for sharing with the site! S.

Yoshi, the Approach FX 2200 will be better for you. The solid 2200 is made from Cordura fabric, which means its quite a bit louder than the KXO-32 material that is featured on the FX 2200!

Beautiful work. I have always had a passion for wanting to do stuff like this but accept the fact now that it is a skill set not in my DNA. It is a nice piece, good job.

One thing about old age is we actually own the deed to the house and the titles to all the vehicles!

That’s the beauty of archery. Feed back is immediate. The golfer Jim Furyk was at a professional level with an unorthodox golf swing. If you hit what your aiming at consistently than you are doing it right by me.

Old age sucks, but as far as I know it beats the alternative.

I'm trying to hold off the excitement until the lake stabilizes, but can't resist. Just this last week alone, she's up 7 vertical feet in elevation and 101,000 acre-feet in volume. Lots of things to be optimistic about at Roosevelt. I've got a good feeling I'll be breaking the mold of mediocre-at-best crappie fishing ol' Rosey has been producing the last 7 years. Can't wait, good luck and take some kids fishing when it kicks off if you can. They won't forget it.

I'm screwed with snakes- I'm deaf and can't hear a rattler- I'll let you guys know about my personal experience after I finally get bit. One time was out scouting with ndaniels on here, he heard a rattler and my foot was on it's head. Other times I walked past a rattler rattling and I could hear my "hearing" friends behind me hollering and cursing. I'm due sometimes
