No joke, Taylor (16) has a boyfriend now. He thinks he is funny. He was texting me the other night, I guess trying to be funny. I sent him this photo, and told him "First round hit at 1500 yards. I could easily hit a human head at over 3/4 mile with no one even knowing where it came from." He quit texting me. Then, when he was over at our house one Saturday, I returned from the desert shooting long range. I think it was quite sobering as I brought in 4 long range rifles in a row as I walked by without saying a word to him.

Something they choose to do and not forced to . Can't make your kid something they are not wired to be.

I’ve been bow hunting for years and yesterday I realized when I’m drawing my bow back I think I’m using too much arm and not enough back. I figure I should make sure I’m doing it right. Is there anyone you all would recommend for lessons? I shoot well at distance and I’ve had success with the bow, just want to make sure I’m doing it right for the long run.

Midway USA has the Badlands Summit pack is normally $400, but is on sale for $178.. That's $222 or 55% off it's regular price. The Ascent pack is normally $250, but Is $133 right now at Midwayusa. The Badlands HDX is like $70 right now at 50% off it's regular price of $140. I am not trying to push Midway USA, but those deals are incredible.

If the meat pack you got is comfortable you might be able to get away with it. Once I can afford it I will probably get a mystery ranch pack. They are known to be comfortable, light and also work as pack frames. You are welcome to use my Dragonfly for your hunt. To give you a comparison the Dragonfly j107 pack is in the 8 to 9 pound range empty, it is a beast when loaded with gear. My team elk pack i think is 6.5 pounds. The higher end packs like mystery ranch are in the 4.5 to 5 pound range.

Watch the classifieds on here. I picked up my Badlands Summit basically new for $200. I also bought a well used but serviceable Badlands 2200 for my buddy for $100.

That "Road" in the video looks pretty decent but in Arizona the AZGFD defines "Road" as means any maintained right-of-way for public conveyance. I'm not sure if that road would be considered a maintained right-of-way for public conveyance or not, so did he break the law or ethics?

A person doesn't need to be the tough guy (or gal). When people know your willing to stand up for yourself you won't get in many fights, unless you're wanting to. Yea, you may lose a fight, but if you fight hard, bullies look elsewhere for people to target. When I was a correctional officer, I knew inmates that were huge dudes, but total cowards. We'd be like "Hey, I would never admit telling you this, but if you do not hit them back, it's never gonna stop". They'd say they knew it, but just could never muster the courage to throw back. Big dudes spending most of their time in solitary confinement of some sort because they never had it in them to hit back despite being giants.

Strictly confidence isnt what she needs, just part of it. She told me shes scared that not giving in could lead to a physical confrontation shes not sure she could win. Thats mainly my thought process going towards mma, boxing etc. The one gym close to my house does boxing, mma, muy thai and ju jitsu. Im thinking thats the way we may,go. Really considering going to do it with her and even maybe making it a family thing. Actually sounds pretty fun to me.

It's gotten too expensive for a show overrun with rvs, boats, kitchen gadgets and the like. I liked it when it was at the Coliseum in the old days and was mostly hunting and fishing.

People have just become over sensitive to recoil. I wonder how men shot "magnums" without a brakes for the last 75 years and lived to tell about it.
