Will you have flat brims? Can’t kill big animals without one. Anyways, i’m going to finish my #liftrunshoot before this #mountainops wears off. Good luck #keephammering

Well I'm glad my daughter was 11 last year when she drew hers with 1 point!!!! LMFAO what a bunch of sour grapes around here. Adults have abused the system far more then parents do to get their kids a quality tag...

Doesn't everyone have the right to apply as long there of legal age, I always used to put my kids in for bull tags . They did great , better then me. Memories that can never be forgotten. It's a lottery. I've won and I lost, you can't lose if you don't play.. Sorry proceed you to.

Kids don’t care about what tag they get. Unless the parents make them feel like they have to have a bull tag

Many of us grew up in the same system, we’re all still hunting. buck deer rifle tags, javelina, small game, turkey, bear, otc archery deer. I can’t see how elk tag makes the difference in getting your kid to hunt.

There’s left over deer tags every single season if parents really wanted opportunity for their kids. I’m not anti youth hunts. But i am anti bull youth hunts and anti youth rut deer hunts.

And if a kid is so butt hurt that he quits hunting because he didn’t get a bull tag then the sport wasn’t for him to begin with

Man talk about cutting it close. Had most my cards maxed from sitting all December with no work then funding 2 big jobs at once. Finally got my check Monday and had to go in today to release funds to me to pay my cards and make sure there were no issues on Friday. WHEW!!! Come on lady luck!

That's "mostly" true IMO, but not always. When my 13 yr old son took a cow at 30 yds in a 6A juniors hunt, with a nice bull bugling 20 yards away from us, he specifically asked me to put him in for a bull tag for the next year. When applying the following year, he reminded me that he wanted a bull tag, so I reluctantly went ahead and put him in for a Sept. rifle bull first choice, juniors cow second choice knowing his odds were 1/100 of drawing the rifle bull tag. He not only drew the rifle bull tag, but took a nice 6x with it! ... his one and only bull tag to date btw.

I’d rather see kids have bull/rut tags than the hillbilly’s I see road hunt Friday and Saturday and quit Sunday mid day

Just call your credit card company and suspend the card for a couple days. Regarding your loyalty point question, according to the AZGFD website, as long as you satisfy the criteria with a “valid application” you do keep it. Also, if you look in the regs, R12-4-107-L verifies their website statement: What is a valid application? A valid application is one that has all required fields completed, is submitted with sufficient fees, and is legible. Refer to R12-4-104 for detailed application and drawing procedures. A Loyalty bonus point can also be earned per species, if an applicant submits a valid application at least once a year for a hunt permit-tag or bonus point for that species consecutively for a 5year period. An applicant retains the loyalty bonus point once accrued as long as the applicant continues to submit a valid application for that species at least once a year.

I tried this last year and it didn’t work. The system can detect a bogus card number. I changed my expiration date but the charge still went through. Ended up point guarding in the same situation last year.

Point guard yes, lots of points, no. I got drawn and stuck one in 2017. Only 3 points this go round. Heck, might even have a good time camping in the wall tent and be able to use the wood stove for once!

Are a lot of you guys seeing less Javelina/Javelina activity? I am kind of getting that feed back from A LOT of sources this year. I know we hunted 3 known areas hard this year and saw one sounder of 3 pigs. Was absolutely crazy. Hunted hard too, 8-10 hour days from dawn till dusk.(3 glassers) Everything was very green, but locals said it was a VERY dry year over all I guess? Just wondering what you guys think
