It’s in AZ too. It’s everywhere. Always has been. Always will be. Funny thing about when you start looking for something, you find it.

Interesting read. The Only thing he doesn't really address is how it actually is spreading if it's not really through saliva, poop and urine. Are animals chewing on the bodies of carcasses? In any case I can live without the deer urine. But the no archery hunting within a quarter mile is stupid.

I brought this up on here during the comment phase of the process. No one really seemed to care, but living in the verde valley, there is a ton of hunting to do along the Verde river...or there was.

G&F makes rules all the time and then hide them in that confusing mess they call regulations. I have noticed that reading comprehension is weak among some. So, G&F you need to rewrite regulations for elementary readers. 😉 You have to use synthetic deer urine found at Sportsmens in AZ. It probably works about as good as the real stuff. When a buck is in rut he will sniff any old thing.

I actually love the pack and all the features. Honestly, the frame is awesome but too big for me. I’m only 5’7” and it’s kind of a “one size fits most”. Probably fits someone better who is at least 5’10”

With a fresh coat of snow across Arizona on New Year's Day, I decided to head east from Flagstaff to Canyon de Chelly as I envisioned Spider Rock rising above the snow covered canyon. It was cold sleeping in the back of the truck at -3F that night and standing on the rim in the morning, but the view was warmth for a photographer's soul. The barren tree against the snow really captured my eye. This is quite different from the fall when the cottonwoods are a river of yellow. A Navajo tale has it that the top of Spider Rock is white from the bones of the bad Navajo children whom Spider Woman has eaten.
