Looking for another set of hands in my machine shop. I've got 5 CNC's right now, and may be buying number 6 at some point this year. At this point, I can't really justify a full time employee as I can pretty well keep them running on my own, but I could use some part time help so that I can free up a few hours to get caught up on my office/paper work and process improvement projects. I'd like to throw this out there to anyone that has a college student in the area studying engineering, science major or something manufacturing related. A high school kid is fine too as long as they have reliable transportation, and intend to study one of the fore mentioned topics when they finish high school. I expect I can keep them busy 15-25 hours per week. Start at $15/hr. Schedule can be flexible around class times, I'm usually there between 5-6am and stay until at least 6pm, usually 6 or 7 days per week, so we can certainly work something out. What they will learn from me: - Set up & operation of CNC lathes & Mills - Blue print reading - Inspection & QC - Process improvement activities - Calibration - Hand finishing - Depending on how long they stay with me, may get into CNC programming & manufacturing engineering What I expect from them: - Reliability. I don't tolerate people I can't count on. - Honesty. I've been doing this a long time and can get past just about any honest mistake. I can't tolerate someone that tries to hide their mistakes or is otherwise deceitful - Willingness to learn and take on any necessary task. Every shop has some dirty grunt work that has to be done. I'm the owner and I'm not too good to sweep floors or clean a toilet, so my employees won't be too good for it either. Anyone interested can contact me at: matt@zerotolmfg.com.

What really needs to happen is to have the slaughter houses open back up. Put a little value back on those animals and they'll start "disappearing" on their own.

I like the design on the back. Now I can look at my wife’s rack and butt at the same time. 😂

I remember this now. You hate the claw for the same reason right? Is it just anything that helps kids kill stuff? Just kidding I know that’s not the case. But I think the scenario you just described is less common than the other end of the spectrum where parents and grandparents are giving kids a chance at drawing any elk tag in their first few years of applying. Telling a kid to wait until he is 15 to hunt cows is not good for recruitment. This year my kids have 5 total apps in. Mine, my wife’s their grandma’s and their own. Of that if we draw a tag for each of them, we’d be pretty lucky. Almost all of our apps are for cow tags, except my son who has a condition that allows him to receive donated tags. For us, it’s about getting kids out there. If someone is forking our cash to apply a couple extra grandparents every year, big deal, it’s not killing the odds.

That’s what I did several years ago. Sure makes it nice now. One less thing to worry about.

I keep my license the way it used to be. 1/1/2019 to 12/31/19 problem solved if there is one.

To be fair, Newberg has never given out unit numbers. In fact, he specifically says and writes in his videos that he won't disclose the unit he's hunting. Now, alot of us locals will recognize landmarks, but nothing more.

They are very similar cartridges ballistically. Depending on what you want to do with the rifle, they have their ups and downs. In my personal experience, the 7 mag is superior to the 300 win mag in almost every way. The 7 mag holds less powder, and has less recoil. The 7 mag shoots bullets with higher bc's than the 300 win mag, which equates to less drop and wind drift. From 0-500 or 600 yards the 300 win mag will have a slight edge in fps and energy over the 7 mag. However, beyond that the 7 mag exceeds the 300 win mag in both fps and energy. So if you want a sub 500-600 yard rifle the 300 win mag may be better suited for you, if you don't mind the recoil. But if you want to shoot further than 500-600 yards, the 7 mag is the way to go.

Yup I got that. It just struck me funny picturing a knife-gun. I was choosing humor over the reality that this whole situation. Dirt bag chooses to be difficult I have no sympathy for him getting an extra reminder that he was wrong, looking like the cop lied and abused his powers bad move on his part. I have never been in this situation because I comply with what I am asked with law enforcement. We have them because we as a society created them. You will never win by following this criminals example.

I'd say with 9 points you are in pretty good shape if you do your research. Kind of that gray area where you wonder whether it's worth it to use your 9 points now for an archery tag, or keep building for a rifle tag. Took me 19 years to draw in AZ. If you really want to hunt antelope, I'd look out of state. There are lots of places with plenty of opportunity. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think if you're willing to drive to Wyoming there are over-the-counter tags. If so, maybe that's a "have your cake and eat it to" approach. Best of luck.
