Smoke a pork shoulder prior to your trip. Vacuum seal it and freeze it. Add pork to a decent Japanese ramen or soup and done. Easy meal.

One of the other threads gave me this idea, but let's see your favorite dead heads. I'll start with my favorite. He's not huge but he's cool. Hard to show what he is in pictures.

Like AZAV8ER said, the mountains like the Catalinas can have areas relatively untouched by human traffic. Just going some place not super easy to walk to can yield deer. At low to mid elevations, even the best case scenario, i.e. dead deer at you feet within minutes as you watch him fall, still leaves boning out time and the walk out, maybe in 90-100 degrees. Higher elevations and the breeze will help you have more time to get your 2018 buck to the rig. And regarding the light weight string and burlap, a successful archer I know back in Missouri utilized that set up for dozens of timberland harvests.

Holy crap!! Few humans in here! My uncle found a human skull down south. Border patrol believes to be in the thousands of unknown graves from illegals

I posted this in the other thread as well, but I thought it would fit in well here. My dad found this on our property in Aravaipa. General consensus was a lion kill. Shame.

That Utah buck is sweet heres one my daughter found while spring turkey and varmit hunting 2 years ago. its a couple inches under 300. was the highlight of her life. she has found 1 lope dead head with one horn 4-5 spike bulls and a few varmit skulls. this one she spots a ways away from were we were walking and started running and yelling OMG OMG OMG. I figured she was chasing a cat or bear as she had her phone out taking pics.
