Video of Coues Deer

These video clips are protected by copyright laws and not to be copied without the consent of CouesWhitetail.com.   Watching these video clips requires a high-speed internet connection.  The files are in Windows Media file format.

Coues Deer Celebration 1 - The first that started a series.....This is a 7 minute video created by CouesWhitetail.com in 2005.  It is a collection of some of my favorite photos (at least back in 2005 anyway) from this website.  It is set to music and will get you pumped-up for your next hunt!

Coues Deer Celebration 2  - Second annual collection of some great photos from CouesWhitetail.com.  Monster bucks, small bucks, and everything in between.  This video packs in 150 photos in just over 6 minutes and is set to music.  This is a tribute to the deer and hunters who make CouesWhitetail.com so interesting.  (music by Kevin MacLeod)

Coues Deer Celebration 3 - I put this together in April 2007 and it is a shorter video than I have been doing (only about 3.5 mins long with about 70 photos).  This is mostly a compilation of monster bucks taken this past year in Arizona and Mexico.  Make sure you have your volume turned up on your computer when you watch this one!  There were so many great photos submitted this year, that I will probably have to do another one of these to do a more complete review of the 2006-07 season. Thanks to everyone who sends in their photos!  (music by Kevin MacLeod)

Coues Deer Celebration 4 - This video is a collection of about 105 deer and other photos that CouesWhitetail.com members have sent in during the past 06-07 season.  It has giant bucks and not-so-giant bucks, but it's great to get your blood flowing!  See if you or your hunting partners are in it!  I output this as a high quality file, which means it's much larger than the other three versions of Coues Deer Celebration videos.  You need a fast internet connection to watch it.  If you can't play that high quality version, here is a link to a smaller file (Coues Deer Celebration 4 - medium quality)

Coues Deer Celebration 5 - This video is the longest yet.  It's about 10 minutes long and has over 220 photos in it.  You will see bucks of all kinds.....giant bucks, tiny bucks and lots in between.  Photos and video are from the website during 2007-08 season.

Muy Grande - this is a short video clip of a 120 inch buck I saw in Mexico in 2003.

Coues bucks - this video was sent in by Chris Yrigolla (aka bigcoues on the forum).  It's about 2 minutes long and shows some large bucks in velvet.

Chris Beck Monster buck - this video shows the 113 2/8 inch (gross score) monster buck that Chris Beck got in NM in 2005.  The video is shot through a spotting scope, so the quality suffers but you can certainly see it's a great buck.  Length: 59 seconds.  I edited it down from his original footage and added a little music for atmosphere.  You can read his hunt story here.

Two bucks sparring - This is another video clip from Chris Beck of a couple bucks sparring.  Again it is video taped through a spotting scope.  The audio on the tape describes some interesting features of one of the bucks.  Length : 2:39

Another clip of two nice bucks - This is a a third clip from Chris Beck of two nice bucks and it is video taped  through a spotting scope. Chris says they estimated the buck in front to be about 95 inches and the one in back is wider but has shorter tines.  Chris' hunting buddy tried to stalk the bucks, but was unable to find a way through a huge canyon.  As his friend was stalking over there, they saw another group of hunters shoot the wide buck and unsuccessfully try and shoot the other buck (not on the video).  Length: 3:22.

My 110 buck from Mexico - here is a 2 min clip of the buck I got in Mexico while hunting with one of our sponsors, Mexafari (www.mexafari.com ), in Jan 2006.  You can see him bed down right before I was going to shoot.  He stayed bedded for over an hour before he finally got up and came into a nice opening.  You can hear the shot on the video but the guide put the camera down so he could watch my buck as soon as he heard the shot, so you don't see him get hit.  But, thankfully, that shot was perfect and he died shortly thereafter (although we didn't know that for sure at the time and waited another hour or so to make sure he was dead).  You can read the hunt story here.  He grosses 110 7/8 and nets about 108 4/8.

Video of a nice buck called in close -  This clip is 1:46 long and is of a buck that we saw during my 2006 Mexico hunt with Mexafari.  We first saw him walking down a ridge away from us, maybe 100-200 yards away.  We set up under an oak tree and tried calling with a buck grunt and doe bleat call.  The buck came back to within 10-20 yards very quickly.  He is a nice buck, maybe 101-103  inches (gross).  If you look carefully as he is leaving you can see an interesting, short, non-typical point between his eyeguard and 2nd tine on his right antler.

Video of a 110 buck with broken beam - This is a buck that my friend Martin Guerena passed on at about 80 yards while hunting with Mexafari in Jan 2006.  He estimated the buck to be 108-110 if it had not broken off it's main beam after the 2nd tine on the right antler.  Clip length: 41 seconds.

Coosefan's Coose Video -  This is a very nice video set to some excellent music.  It includes video from many successful hunts and is about 6 minutes long.  Coosefan is Jim Mullins from Mullins Outfitters, one of our sponsors (and he is even wearing one of the CouesWhitetail.com hats during some of the hunts).  He also put together a little prank toward the end of the video that you will probably enjoy. Visit MullinsOutfitters.com for more information on his guiding business.

The Chicken Buck - Watch as Ronda Adams (wife of Scott Adams) takes her first Coues buck in Nov 2006.  This buck looks like he turns into a mass of feathers after she hits him.  I'll bet you have never seen anything like it.
