FB67 Report post Posted March 11, 2014 Did you use an outfitter that you would recomend? We used Top Gun outfitters they were good, the guide was very professional and safe. There may be better outfitters out there and I am sure ones not so good but for the first time doing this I was not disappointed. With the crazy weather all the guides were chasing their tail a bit trying to stay up with the location of the birds. I am not one to exaggerate and I truly believe that the three days I was in Missouri I saw no less then 300,000 snow geese in the air. Friday when I arrived there was a stretch of geese that flew over us for more then 15 minutes and was at least 2 miles long Crazy.

FB67 Report post Posted March 11, 2014 How many did you shoot? Looks like you found some juvies that day atleast! I'm chomping at the bit for them to get to ND. We killed 23 the first day and the second day we blanked tons of birds hovering but would not commit to the decoys. The guide said that there are reports of snow's already in South Dakota so it shouldn’t be long before you are blazing away .
